  New owners have recently taken over this pub. We stayed for three nights and loved it. New owners are very welcoming and friendly. Our two dogs were also very welcome. The breakfasts were hot, fresh and substantial. In the evenings; great music and a roaring fire made for a lovely atmosphere

  Popped in for a drink. Stayed to watch the live music. Very good. Firepit outside for the smokers is a nice touch. Very homely atmosphere and home cooked food. Recommended.

  The new owners don't like having people with special needs coming to this pub, it's disgusting turning people away in this day and age through no fault of there own, DO NOT GO TO THIS PUB!!!!! backwards thinking

  It was very quiet. We were the only people inside, but there some others in the beer garden. The food was great, lots of it, and good value. The hospitality and service were great too. Would definitely go back.
